The Minerva Hoyt Trail follows two historic roads to Hidden Valley. Hike through a valley of Joshua trees (Yucca brevifolia) ending at the Hidden Valley Picnic Area. Throughout the park, trails used by Native Americans for millennia became the roads and trails we use today. Think of the people who have traveled this trail before you and the millions who will come after you. Notice the vast landscape as you make your way there and back.
Remember to keep safe and help protect desert plants and animals by staying on the trail.
