A memorial plaque commemorating the anti-German demonstration, held on March 15, 1942, on the anniversary of the 1848 Revolution, in which 8,000 people were gathered under the memorial to Sándor Petőfi.

Above the text is the portrait of Sándor Petőfi, the national poet, and one of the ancestors of the 1848 revolution in which the Hungarians tried to establish an independent state.
