The Royal Arsenal area is located on the south bank of the Thames in the Woolwich area, an area that was used to make weapons, armor and more, mainly in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Buildings that are on the Grade II list are those that have historical or architectural importance, they are intended for preservation and cannot be destroyed. Level 2 are buildings whose importance is national and not only local.
Paper cartridge preceded the metal cartridge for light ammunition. Inside the paper cartridge was the bullet, gunpowder and other ingredients. Usually during the shooting the cartridge was completely burned. Such bullets were used in the well-known Enfield Model 1853 rifle.
