A point on the Yiddish Theater Walk of Fame, a path that was initiated by Abe Lebewohl who was the owner of the "Second Avenue Deli", one of the well-known kosher delis in New York City. In the deli there were pictures and objects commemorating the Yiddish theaters that operated in the area at the beginning of the twentieth century. After Lebewohl’s murder, the deli moved to Third Avenue.
The track was established in 1984 by Lebewohl ​​in front of his Deli.

The current plaque is dedicated to the married couple of actors who worked in the Yiddish theater:
Ben Bonus (1920-1984), born in Horodenka, Ukraine. Actor and singer in the Yiddish theater and also on Broadway. Worked a lot to preserve the Yiddish theater in New York in the 1960s and 1970s.
He was married to Mina Bern

Mina Bern (1911-2010), born in Bielsk Podlaskie, Poland.
An actress in the Yiddish theater, she worked extensively to preserve the Yiddish theater in New York in the 1960s and 1970s.
She was married to Ben Bonus
