The bridge that passes over the River Thames and connects the Chelsea area to Battersea in London was built in 1890, it is 221 meters long and 12 meters wide. It is the narrowest vehicular bridge in London.
This bridge replaced previous bridges, the oldest of which dates back to 1771
The bridge was designed by Joseph Bazalgette
