The sign is found in the house where the Italian national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi (1807-1882) stayed
In 1848, Garibaldi returned to Italy after a long exile in South America where he participated, among other things, in the battles for the liberation of Uruguay. Garibaldi returned to liberate and unify Italy, and in the same year stayed at this place.
