Comments:
The sign belongs to the series of signs depicting outdoor sculptures throughout the city of Tel Aviv - Jaffa.

The statue is in the Micah Garden in commemoration of Micah Gottlieb who perished in the helicopter disaster (1997).

The sculpture consists of two trees: a cypress and a palm, both of which create a shadow shown in dark stone. The side of the cypress tree resembles the figure of a soldier, while that of the palm symbolizes a helicopter.

The statue was photographed on the same day Click for a larger image Click for a larger image Click for a larger image
