"The Store" One of the munitions factories run by the Hagana - Israel’s pre-State army was located here, on 10 Sharon Street, between 1939 and 1947. Its underground name was "The Store" and it was used to manufacture grenade parts, ammunition, and spare parts for Sten guns. The factory was discovered and shut down by the British in 1947.
