The sign is on the wall of the house where the lawyer Raymond de Sèze(1750-1828) lived
He became famous mainly as the one who defended King Louis XVI before the National Convention (Parliament during the French Revolution). Sèze made a great impression with his speech, but the king was convicted and executed.
