The sign is on the wall of the house where the sculptor Emanuel Hatzofe (1928-2019) lived.
Emanuel Hatzofe was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. He was a sailor for 50 years and even served as a captain. The marine background of the viewer is reflected in some of his sculptures.
