The sign is on the wall of the house where Shalom Rosenfeld lived - journalist and writer, born in Targowica, Ukraine (1914-2008), immigrated to Israel in 1934
Rosenfeld was one of the top journalists in Israel. He started his career in the newspapers "HaMashkif" and "Herut" which belonged to the revisionist movement. He worked in the newspaper "Yediot Ahronoth" and was one of the founders of the newspaper "Maariv" where he wrote for many years.
Winner of the Israel Prize for Journalism (1986) and the Sokolov Prize for Journalism (1975)
