Translation of the text on the sign:
Symbol of the Council for the Preservation of Israeli Heritage Sites
The emblem of the Kfar Shmaryahu local council

A western outpost on the border of Kfar Shmaryahu
Here was the last house of the village, which headed west toward the Bedouin tents between Sidna Ali and Kfar Shmaryahu.
A guard post was installed on its flat roof that illuminated the sand path to Sidna Ali and the dirt road (the current Haifa-Tel Aviv highway) in which Arabs moved from Wadi Falik to Jaffa.
