The sign is on Husova Street, a street named after the theologian and one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation, who in 1415 was burned at the stake due to his views.

(about 1371 - 6.7.1415) Czech reformer, preacher in the Bethlehem Chapel (1402 - 1412). Master at the University of Prague. In 1870, 4,000 Prague residents requested that the street be called Husová třída.
