Comments:
The bridge is named after Tommy Leonard who founded several long distance runs, and is known as the official greeter of the Boston Marathon. The bridge named after him is at the turn to the last mile of the marathon.

Tommy Leonard died in 2019, a year after the bridge was named after him.
