The Archbishops Bridge (Pont de lArchevêch) connects the island of Île de la Cité (one of the two islands in the center of the Seine) with the left bank of the Seine. The bridge which is the narrowest bridge in Paris was built in 1828, it is 68 meters long and has 3 stone arches (as you can see in the silhouette of the bridge shown on the sign)
At the level of the bridge there is a sign with the name of the bridge and the designation of the arrondissement (the fifth arrondissement) Click for a larger image
