The first years In August 1935, the cornerstone was laid in a solemn ceremony, and on May 1, 1936, the houses began to be inhabited. The houses had two rooms, a kitchen, a shower with a toilet and an open balcony. Some families did not have money to invest in sewage and used the toilets outside. In the northern part of the Moshave there was an electricity line and those who had the financial means connected to the electricity.
Yitzhak Kantor says: "At once the house was lit with several light bulbs and the oil lamp was kept by mother, who knows, maybe it will be needed."
The first years were difficult years of organization, they lived very modestly, the burden of the economy fell mainly on the women, the men mostly worked outside. Each family established a small auxiliary farm. Sara Bila/Yitzhar says:
"The milk was brought to the dairy at first in buckets, then in pitchers, the milk was poured into a measuring jug. The milk was sent to Tnuva and some was sold to the neighboring kibbutzim: Givat HaShomer, Manof, and HaOgen."
"Most of the coops were mobile coops that were moved from one place to another, when the chickens finished the vegetables and the manure overflowed. The eggs were collected from the laying cells, brought to the hatchery and from there to Tnuva"
In 1937, the large pool was built by the water plant, at a height of 12 m and with an intake of 1000 mm. Since then, the pool has become the symbol of the moshav.
