Ana de Mendoza y de Silva, Princess of Éboli, a Spanish noblewoman who had a close relationship with King Philip II. She was also on close terms with the king’s secretary - Antonio Pérez. After the secretary was banned due to suspicions of murder, Ana de Mendoza was also banned.
