בית העם
בית העם הוקם על ידי "סולל בונה", ביוזמתו של חברנו נתן כהן ז"ל, במסגרת "קרן יד נחמיה". האדריכל שילון ורכז הבנייה בקיבוצנו - חיים ביתן - היו אחראיים על בנייתו.
הנחת אבן הפינה הייתה בשנת 1971, אך כתוצאה מבעיות מימון ובגלל שרפה שקרתה תוך כדי הבנייה, המבנה נחנך ברוב עם והדר, רק בשנת 1983.
מאז, בית העם משרת אותנו בכל תחומי התרבות.

The People’s House
Beit Ha’am was established by "Solel Bona", at the initiative of our friend Natan Cohen, the late, as part of the "Yad Nehemiah Foundation". The architect Shilon and the construction coordinator in our kibbutz - Chaim Beitan - were responsible for its construction.
The cornerstone was laid in 1971, but as a result of financing problems and because of a fire that happened during construction, the building was inaugurated with great pomp and ceremony only in 1983.
Since then, Beit Ha’am serves us in all fields of culture.
