Bakery / shoemaking workshop
With the establishment of the kibbutz, two buildings were built with rapid construction - concrete casting on metal grids and rounded tins.
One building was previously used as a public shower, but collapsed in 2014. The other building was used as a bakery which operated in the 1940s and 1950s and supplied bread to the kibbutz and the neighboring kibbutzim.
After the bakery closed, a cobbler’s shop began to operate in its place, where various and varied shoes were sewn and repaired for the entire population of our kibbutz.
