בית שומאכר
ביתם של יעקב שומאכר (1891-1825) ובנו גוטליב שומאכר (1825-1857), מבכירי הקהילה הטמפלרית. האב ובנו שימשו כיו"ר המושבה הגרמנית וכסגני קונסול של ארה״ב בחיפה.
גוטליב שומאכר היה מגדולי החוקרים של ארץ-ישראל, עבר הירדן ורמת הגולן. היה מהנדס מחוז עכו, חופר מגידו, כרטוגרף ומודד. תכנן ובנה מבנים רבים במושבות העבריות. כתב וערך עשרות ספרים, מפות ומאמרים המהווים נכסי צאן ברזל של ידיעת הארץ.

بيت شوماخر
ستمي هذا البيت على اسم يعقوب شوماخر (1825-1891) ونجله جوطلیف شوماخر (1925-1857)، من وجهاء التمبلريين، وقد شغل الأب وابنه منصب رئاسة الكولونية الألمانية ونواب قنصل الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في حيفا.
كان جوطليف شوماخر من كبار باحثي فلسطين أرض إسرائيل، وشرق الأردن وهضبة الجولان عمل مهندسا في لواء عكا، ونقب عن آثار مجيدو، ورسم الخرائط ومسح الأراضي خطط وشيد العديد من المباني في البلدات العبرية ألف واعد العشرات من الكتب والخرائط والمقالات التي أصبحت ترانا بخالنا في معرفة البلاد.

SCHUMACHER HOUSE
The house of Jacob Schumacher (1825-1891) and his son Gottlieb (1875-1925), prominent members of the Templar community, who served as chairs of the German Colony and as vice-consuls of the USA in Haifa.
Gottlieb Schumacher was one of the greatest researchers of Eretz Israel, Trans-Jordan and the Golan Heights, he was the engineer of the Akko district, the excavator of Megiddo, and a cartographer and surveyor. He planned and built many buildings in the Jewish agricultural settlements (moshavot), and also wrote and edited dozens of books, maps and articles, which added tremendous and permanent value to the knowledge of Israel.

The sign shape is rectangular but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
