The plaque is located at Liverpool Street railway station, commemorating the employees of the Great Eastern Railway, which was the railway company that operated between 1862-1922. The sign was placed in 1922 at the station, in a different location from the current location, in 1990 as part of the works to renew the station, the sign was moved to the current location
