The sign at the "London Bridge" train station commemorates the fallen railway workers in World War I (another plaque at the bottom of the sign refers to World War II)
At the bottom of the monument is the inscription: There But Not There - an organization founded on the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War with the aim of perpetuating the memory of the soldiers and those who fell in this war.
