Adolf Frankl, an Austrian Jewish painter, who, after being in the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp, created the series of pictures "Visions from Hell - Art Against Oblivion", in which he described his years in the camp. Please note that in the English-language plaque, "of blessed memory" appears in Hebrew (ז"ל) after the painter’s name
