TO MARK THE 130TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BOARD OF GUARDIANS AND TRUSTEES
FOR THE RELIEF OF THE JEWISH POOR REGISTERED (KNOWN AS THE JEWISH BOARD OF GUARDIANS)
WHO OCCUPIED THESE PREMISES FOR 60 YEARS.

The Jewish Board of Guardians for the Relief of the Jewish Poor known as the Jewish Board of Guardians is a charity founded in London in 1859 to support Jewish immigrants. In 1990 the organization changed its name to Jewish Care and it exists to this day.

The sign is located where the organization’s offices have been located for 60 years.
