Founded in 1147, expanded by Rudolf IV, Duke of Austria (Rudolf the Founder) in 1365, diocese (run by a bishop) from 1469. The height of the southern tower is 137 m, which was then the tallest tower in the world, a ship and a choir (the main space and the choir hall) are 108 m long. The unfinished northern tower "Pomeranian" (the name of the bell tower), is the second largest in Europe.
