Water integrated sculpture Realms of Thoughts
In designing the sculpture, emphasis was placed on environmental ecological ideas of flow and development. The shades of the sculpture: blue, gold, brown and green as the colors of nature water, light and vegetation.
The images that appear in a mesh print on ceramic tiles from original photographs, simulate the "equator" in the center of the spherical globe. The branches of the ’mind’ (brain) are described that merge with the tree drawings, suck as living and clear water roots and develop a growth of the human DNA image, as a genetic helix around the globe. The same images are also printed around the lower levels closest to the ground, in only a few shades of green.
The ball floats, like the Realms of Thoughts... on a pillar covered with a screen of water moving in a circular circle. So too at the mosaic levels, the spiral model, simulates water vortices and resonates with the principle of flow and progress.
