בית בונשטיין
כאן ביתו של ר’ מרדכי בונשטיין ממיסדי המושבה ואבי משפחת בונשטיין העניפה, ר’ מרדכי נבחר על ידי פקידי הבארון רוטשילד להיאחז באדמות שנרכשו בכפר הערבי טנטורה (שחרב במלחמת העצמאות).
במשך כמה שנים התגוררה המשפחה בצוותא עם ערביי הכפר. ר’ מרדכי שנודע כחקלאי חרוץ ומיומן, התחבב על ערביי הכפר שחלקו לו כבוד רב.
לביתם זה עלו הבונשטיינים לאחר השהות בטנטורה וכאן היכתה המשפחה שורש.
על-מנת להבדילם מענף אחר במשפחה, וכמזכרת לפועלם ב"כיבוש" אדמות טנטורה כונו ר’ מרדכי ובני ביתו "הבונשטיינים הטנטורים".

Beit Bonstein
This is the home of founding settler Mordechai Bonstein, an able farmer who was appointed by Rothschild’s officials to claim the Baron’s lands near Tantura, an Arab village destroyed in the War of Independence.
Mordechai and his family lived in Tantura for several years, returning to their house in Zichron Yaakov only for the Sabbath and festivals.
In acknowledgement of their association with Tantura, the family became known as the "Tantura Bonsteins".
