A plaque in memory of the Jews who lived in the house and perished in the Holocaust. Part of the "Stones of Remembrance" project commemorating Jews who lived in Vienna and perished in the Holocaust.
The project is very similar to the "Stumbling Blocks" (Stolpersteine) project set up for the same purpose. In this project, some of the plaques are on the ground (as in the "stumbling blocks" project, and some on the walls of the houses - as in the current sign).
