Rishonim Yard, Ein Shemer In 1917, eight pioneers, members of the "Ahdut" group, ascended the hill. They plow the first furrow and sow the first seed in the surrounding soil. The cooperative settlement they established on the hill is called the Karkur Group.
In 1922, members of the Labor Battalion arrive and build the courtyard wall, erecting a grain barn, a two-story stone house, and a small barn. For construction purposes, they use stones brought from quarries in Tulkarm and harvest stones from the nearby Menashe Mountains.
In 1925, the "Ahdut" group disbanded and was replaced by a group of volunteer pioneers, the Brenner Group.
On June 6, 1927, they ascended the hill and the walls that enclose it around members of the Hashomer Hatzair nucleus, originally from Poland, who until then had lived in Ein Ganim in Petah Tikva. Here, between the walls on the hill, they establish a kibbutz. It was one of the first kibbutzim of Hashomer Hatzair, the Kibbutz HaArtzi - Kibbutz Ein Shemer.
