Click for a larger image Click for a larger image The description of the monument was given by the photographer Israel Preker: The monument commemorates the trainings that left Rishon Lezion, for the establishment of kibbutzim, throughout the country, between 1920 and 1948. The sculpture was made by the artist David Katz and depicts a group of young people raising a guard tower as part of a wall and tower. The monument was inaugurated on the spot in October 2000.
