One of the bronze plaques erected on Park Ave in Manhattan by artist Greg Le Fabre and depicting historic buildings in the area. The plaques were laid in 1996

The plaque shows the Daily News building, also known as The News Building. The skyscraper rises to a height of 36 floors, and was used by the Daily News until 1995.

The plaque shows the facade of the building, with the inscription THE NEWS and below it an illustration of New Yorkers rushing to work, with the slogan: "He Made So Many of Them" Part of Abraham Lincoln’s saying: "God must love the common people; he made so many of them. ”
