הסמל הראשון של המושבה
"ומתוק האור וטוב לעיניים לראות את השמש" (קהלת, י"א, ז).
חיי הפגישו אותי לפני שנים ספורות עם המקום הנפלא הזה, מזכרת בתיה, והיתה זו עבורי נקודת התחלה רעננה.
אור השמש במקום זה נעם לי והוסיף שמחה לחיי.
בסמל זה, מתנתי למושבה, אלמנטים של חלב ודבש, אדמה ומגן, יש בהם טעם וריח, ראות ומישוש.
קרני האור המתוקות מאירות את המרכיבים הללו כשם שתהליך היצירה האיר את פני.
לכבוד הוא לי.

Translation of the text on the sign:

The first emblem of the colony
"And the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun" (Ecclesiastes 11: 7).
My life introduced me a few years ago to this wonderful place, Mazkeret Batya, and it was a fresh starting point for me.
The sunlight in this place pleased me and added joy to my life.
In this symbol, I gave to the colony, elements of milk and honey, earth and shield, they have taste and smell, sight and touch.
The sweet rays of light illuminate these elements just as the creative process illuminated my face.
I am honored.
