Translation of the text on the sign:
Symbol of the Council for the Preservation of Israeli Heritage Sites
The symbol of the city of Ness Ziona

Nahalat Reuven, The Huge Strawberry Tree Joint Home
Established in 1888.
The common house was the first stone house on the estate.
Built by the Eisenberg family and the Hochberg family, it was allocated a room for public needs, school studies, prayers for the "first minyan" and the "committee of the colony" chosen to lead the place.
Next to the common house stood a huge strawberry tree, a remnant of the Sheikh days of the place. The house and the tree became the symbol of "Nahalat Reuven" which was the foundation of a colony formed around it. The house and the tree became the "un-crowned center" of the settlement in the country. The community leaders came here to discuss freely and enthusiastically about important community plans and initiatives.
In the courtyard of the common house, Michael Halperin waved the Hebrew flag adopted as the national flag.
