The first economic nucleus
The remnants of the British buildings before us were part of the residential buildings of the British Air Staff.
In these and other buildings, scattered around the area, shops and workshops were opened and were the first economic center of the community. These businesses provided the residents with their daily needs and beyond.

There has also been extensive activity in this area of education, culture and public administration.

Activities in this area have decreased over the years for a variety of reasons, including poor sanitary conditions, the establishment of other centers and the evacuation-compensation authority program that began in the 1980s.
