A blessing spoken at the beginning of the Hebrew month, as the moon grows. Since this blessing is said at night outside the synagogue, it is customary to write a sign on the synagogue wall that reads the blessing.

Another sign below the current sign is dedicated to a Zeev Khafif and is inscribed with it: a memorial to our unforgettable friend / The late Zeev Khafif / A man of many blessings
