המבנה ההיסטורי נבנה בסוף שנות השמונים של המאה ה-19 (1879-1885) על חורבות המצודה הדרום מזרחית של יפו העתיקה, ביוזמת ובמימון איש העסקים הצרפתי פרנסיס גינה (Francisque Guinet). המבנה, על שתי קומותיו המונומנטליות, הכנסיה הייחודית שבו והחצר הפנימית רחבת הידיים שלו, תוכנן בסגנון הרנסנס האיטלקי ע"י האדריכלים רבלה (Ribelle) וגרבה (Grebez) מליון, צרפת ונועד לשמש בית מחסה ואכסניה לצליינים. הבניין שימש בית חולים פתוח לכל, בניהול מסדר האחיות "סנט ג’וזף של ההתגלות" (St. Joseph De L’apparition) עד שנות ה-70 של המאה העשרים. בתחילת המאה ה-21 שומר המבנה ההיסטורי על ידי היזם אר. אף. אר ישראל בע"מ והוכשר לשמש כבית מלון, לאחר שהוסף לו אגף חדש, בצדו המערבי של המתחם.
המלון נחנך בשנת 2018. מתכננים: אדריכל ג’ון פוסון, אדריכל רמי גיל.

This historic building was constructed in the latter part of the 19th century (1879-1885) on the ruins of the South-East Citadel of Old Jaffa by the French businessman, M. Francisque Guinet. With its unique chapel, two monumental storeys, and its spacious interior courtyard, the building was designed in the Italian Renaissance style by Architects Ribelle and Grebez from Lyon, France, and was originally planned as a shelter and hostel for pilgrims. It was used as a hospital, open to all, under the management of the Order of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Apparition (Congregation des Soeurs de Saint Joseph de L’Apparition), until the 1970’s. In the early 21st century, this historic building was restored by developer RFR Israel Ltd for use as a hotel, following the addition of a new wing on the western side of the compound. Opened in 2018. Designers: Architect Mr. John Pawson and Architect Mr. Ramy Gill.

مبني تاريخي بني في أواخر سنوات الثمانينات من القرن التاسع عشر ( ١٨٧٩-١٨٨٥) على أنقاض القلعة الجنوبية الشرقية في يافا القديمة ، وذلك بمبادرة وتمويل رجل الأعمال الفرنسي فرنسيس جوينه . خطط المبني بطابئيه الصغيرين ، الكنيسة المميزة التي فيه والمساحة الداخلية الواسعة ، وفقاً لطراز عصر النهضة الإيطالي من قبل المهندسين المعماريين ريبيل وجربيه من ليون في فرنسا ، وخصص ليكون مكان مبيت وفندقا للحجاج المصلين المسيحيين . استخدم المبنى كمستشفى مار يوسف الظهور " حتى سنوات السبعينات من القرن العشرين . في بداية القرن الحادي والعشرين قام المبادر أر . إف . مفتوح للجميع ، بإدارة بعثة راهبات أر اسرائيل مريض . بصيانة المبنى التاريخي وتمت تهيئته ليُستعمل كفندق بعد أن أضيف إليه قسم جديد في الجانب الغربي من المكان . افتتح الفندق عام ١٩٧٠ . . المخططون : المهندس المعماري جون باوسون ، المهندس المعماري رامي غيل .
