The water pool

[Image: The colony’s young people sit on the first water pool, 1927]

The first pool for storing well water was built in 1924 by Hapoel Ya’akov Yentel and other workers. It contained 100 cubic meters.
As the colony grew, the pool no longer met the needs, so in 1931 a second pool was built near the first time. In the mid-1930s, windows and a door opened in the pool and pool structure and turned it into a water plant office..
Today, the pool structure serves as the offices of the Raanana Municipality.
