Point number 8 in the history of Gedera as depicted on the wall at the southern entrance of the town.

The winery established by Baruch Papirmeister mainly produced spirits such as cognac. The winery owned by Carmel Mizrahi was one of the colony’s sources of income. In 2017, the area on which the old winery structure stood was sold to private investors.
