The sign shape is square but its head is designed according to the silhouette of the old building of the Gymnasia Herzliya, which serves as a logo of the Council for the Preservation of Heritage Sites in Israel
Translation of the text on the sign: Symbol of the Council for the Preservation of Israeli Heritage Sites
The pool The pool was built in 1923/4 in the center of the village. The water was gravitated from the Shimron spring and was thus distributed to the countryside. The alarm bell on the pool called the residents of tents for milking, assembly or emergency. During the 1936-1939 events, the pool served as an observation tower, a signal station and spotlight.
