כאן עומד הסניף הראשון של בנק הפועלים בחולון, שהחל לפעול בשנת 1937 ושרת את אנשי קריית עבודה.
בנק הפועלים נוסד בשנת 1921 ע"י ההסתדרות הציונית והסתדרות העובדים הכללית בא"י.
המשכו של רחוב ויצמן דרומה נושא את שמו של יוסף אהרונוביץ’ (1937-1877), עיתונאי, עסקן ומנהיג ציוני, ממייסדי בנק הפועלים ומנהלו הראשון בשנים 1937-1923.

Bank Hapoalim
Here stands the first branch of Bank Hapoalim in Holon, which began operating in 1937 and served the people of Kiryat Avoda.
Bank Hapoalim was founded in 1921 by the Zionist Histadrut and the General Workers’ Histadrut in Israel.
The continuation of Weizman Street to the south bears the name of Yosef Aharonovich (1877-1937), a journalist, businessman and Zionist leader, one of the founders of Bank Hapoalim and its first manager in 1923-1937.
