Background
The Tel Aviv Orchard is a project located in Yarkon Park (Yohshua Gardens), with fruit trees from Israel and the world
The orchard was inaugurated in 2016 and is the result of the initiative of the journalist Nechama Doak.
In the orchard, fruit trees are common such as Loquat
, fig
, mango
, clementine
and more.
At the time the series was pictured there were also vine bushes on the fence bordering Bnei Dan Street
,
But they were removed as part of the renovations done in the area.
About the signs
The signs are made of metal, are on a pole and are rectangular in shape.
Each sign shows the symbol of Tel Aviv Municipality and the Yarkon Park symbol, the name of the tree, its scientific name, and a description in Hebrew
