Historical Background
Park Avenue also known as Fourth Avenue in Manhattan, New York, was home to famous New York architects. In house number 101 also known as the "Architects Building"
were the offices of the most famous architects in New York City. The 16-story building was destroyed, and in 1978 they began building the building that still stands today.
The memorial project was done in 1996 in collaboration with the Grand Central Partnership, and describes some of the buildings located in the Grand Central district.
