Background
An initiative of the Tel Aviv Municipality in which signs were placed on streets and major sites in the center of Tel Aviv.
The signs indicate the history of the area, major sites in it, according to the area in which the sign is placed.
Signs of special note: Beit Ha’ir - the former Tel Aviv City Hall
, Rambam Square - stylish buildings in the Nahalat Binyamin area
, HaTarbut Square - one of the cultural centers of Tel Aviv: Hechal Hatarbut and Habima Theater
, Nahum Gutman Fountain

About the signs
The signs are rectangular and placed on the ground and double-sided.
On one side of the sign is the name of the site / street, a historical picture and a description of the site or street in three languages (Hebrew, Arabic, English).
The other side serves as a directional sign with the names of nearby sites and the distance to them, a general map and a detailed map of the area, and indicating places on these maps. For example the other side of the sign in the area of Rambam Square
