The sign is in front of the house where Moshe Berenstein lived - painter, illustrator and poet, born in Byaroza, Belarus (1920-2006), immigrated to Israel in 1947.
He mainly painted the Jewish towns in Eastern Europe, he also wrote books of poetry mainly in Yiddish.
He was one of Tel Aviv’s bohemians, one of the regulars of the Kasit cafe
Awarded with "Freedom of the City of Tel Aviv" (1992)
