The tall building at left is the Beit Safafa lour mill, which was blown up by the Haganah in 1947.
The low structure in the middle of the photo marks the ceasefire line between Israel and Jordan after the War of Independence. The grove at right is in the southern part of Mekor Haim.

Sign No. 54 in a series of signs placed on or around lighting poles, including the history of the old railway line to Jerusalem, along which its route extends the HaMesila (Railway) Park.
