הרב יצחק פראג אופלטקא תק"פ - תר"ס
הרב יצחק אופלטקא מפעילי הציבור בירושלים עלה לארץ מפראג בתקצ"ח (1838), נישא לוידא-חנה עייאש. הקים וניהל את בית המדרש "דורש ציון" בתרכ"ו (1866) מראשוני בתי הספר החדשים בירושלים. התיישב באחרית ימיו בשכונת אבן ישראל. בניו היו רבי אברהם ורי"ח אופלטקא, ממשיכו בניהול בית המדרש. מצאצאיו אליעזר ויששכר, מחלוצי הרוקחות ורפאל מראשי הרפואה הציבורית בארץ ישראל, מבנה ובוניה של אבן ישראל.

Rabbi Yizchak Prague O’Platka 1820 - 1900
Rabbi Yizchak Prague Oplatka, an active member of Jerusalem society, arrived from Prague in 1838. Married to Vida-Hanna Ayash, he founded Doresh Zion in 1866. one of the first modern beth midrash schools in Jerusalem. In his latter years he moved to Even Israel. His sons were Rabbi Avraham and Rabbi R.H Oplatka, who continued as head of Doresh Zion. His descendants included Eliezer and Issachar, pioneers in the field of pharmacology, and Raphael, one of the founders of the public health system, all prominent residents of Even Israel.
