בנין זה נבנה בשנת 1926 בסגנון אקלקטי על ידי האחים מרים, יוסף, מרדכי, זאב ומאיר כהנוביץ’ ונועד למגורים עם קומת מסחר.
המבנה הוא לשימור מתוקף תכנית "לב העיר" ותכנית השימור 2650 ב’ ומהיותו ממוקם באיזור ההכרזה של אונסק"ו.
המבנה סימטרי, מסוגנן, ומעוטר בשני ארקרים בצידיו וכן בפתחים אנכיים ומעקות מפורזלים.
הבנין שוקם באופן חלקי בשנת 2014 בהנהלת חברת עזרה ובצרון, בתכנונו של האדריכל עמי אילון ובפיקוחו של האינג’ קרול ווקסלר. מבצע העבודה הוא הקבלן אלי בן-שלום.

This eclectic-style building was built in 1926 by the brothers Miriam, Joseph, Mordechai, Zeev and Meir Kahanovitch. It was built and preserved according to the Heritage Site Preservation Plan, Lev-Hair and plan no. 2650 B. It was recognized by UNESCO.
The construction is symmetrical with two arches - one on each side. It has elongated doors and windows, and decorated balconies.
In 2014 the building was partly renovated and preserved by "Ezra & Bitzaron". The work was performed by the contractor Eli Ben-Shalom under the supervision of engineer Carol Wechsler. The architect was Ami Eilon
